Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Fix N Clean's services or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Services
Fix N Clean provides professional window, door, locksmith, and commercial glass services in the Greater Toronto Area:
- Window installation, repair, and emergency glass replacement
- Door installation, repair, kick-in repair, and reinforcement
- Emergency board-up service for residential and commercial properties
- Locksmith services including lockouts, rekeying, smart locks, and master key systems
- Commercial storefront glass and access control
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on information available at the time. Final pricing may vary based on:
- Actual scope of work upon inspection
- Material costs and availability
- Additional repairs or services required
Any call-out or after-hours charge is disclosed before you approve the visit. Changes to the quoted scope or price are communicated and approved before work proceeds.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept credit/debit cards, e-Transfer, cash, and cheque (for established customers). For larger projects, a deposit may be required.
5. Warranty
- Workmanship: Lifetime warranty on installation labour
- Windows: Manufacturer warranty (typically 15–25 years)
- Doors: Manufacturer warranty (typically 5–10 years)
- Locks: Manufacturer warranty
6. Cancellation Policy
Scheduled appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Emergency services are non-cancellable once a technician has been dispatched.
7. Liability
Business and insurance documentation applicable to a project is available on request before work begins. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to:
- Direct damages caused by our work
- The cost of the services provided
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the work required
- Ensure safe access to the work area
- Remove valuables and fragile items from the work area
- Be present or have an authorized representative during service
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada.
